Married on a Sunday afternoon in Albany, NY.
Booked them last minute (one month before wedding), and in that short time they were able to learn two songs that we requested. Their music style was just right, and they have quite a mix of songs to choose from.
Jason and Heather were great. The package was very affordable, and the pictures were stellar. You own the rights to the pictures, and you are given a DVD without watermarks. They were very flexible in working out a timeline for the wedding day (we wanted a first-look shoot), and allowed us to trade in our free engagement shoot for a bridal shoot in the park after the wedding day. I made lots of photo suggestions during our shoots, and they were quite flexible with that as well. They were really kind to our guests, which was a plus.
We ordered the honeybee cake for our Earth Day wedding, and people are still talking about it! Agnes delivered the cake herself (about 100 miles), and it was very fresh.
We ordered around 50 chair covers, and Natasha delivered them herself the day before. She allowed us to keep them all weekend, and picked them up the following day. 4 stars instead of 5, only because of a late drop-off which delayed my errands the day before the wedding.
74 State was our venue. We used 74 State's private room for our ceremony and our reception. We had our cocktail hour in the lounge as they "flipped" the room for lunch. The private dining menu is very reasonable for the phenomenal food that is served. Of course, there were a few hiccups (a misunderstanding about the length of open bar, and a few issues with credit cards at check-out), but all were resolved quickly. We even had an after party in the Executive Suite for close friends and family and had a buffet up there. The hotel staff was really great the whole way. Ask for Emily, she'll take good care of you.
