We are big kids at heart, and wanted to share our fun with our guests. Our Wedding was spread over two days, with our ceremony and mini reception at Robin Hill, and our main reception at Kennywood Park. Everything turned out great and we had a blast. All of my reviews may seem like raves, but when everything goes perfectly...
Paul was great and easy to work with. He was there when needed, and responsive to phone calls to get us on the road.
Cake turned out exactly how we wanted it. Chrissy specialized is custom/fun cakes, and we wanted a fun unique cake with our kid at heart wedding theme. We wanted our cake made to look like it was created out of Lego, and Chrissy delivered, making it everything we were looking for. She was very responsive to e-mails (i hate the phone)and was very pleasent and easy to work with in person. I would recommend one of Chrissy's cakes to anyone who wants their cake to be unique. On top of that the cake tasted Awesome. All the slices we cut up had disappeared... and we had almost twice the cake needed. This is one of the main areas we planned to splurge and it was worth every penny.
We weren't going to bother with a meal the day of the ceremony as we had a reception planed the next day, but once we got the price quote... we couldn't not have the food. Brian was great to work with, and he even went above and beyond with helping us set up the rented house making sure everything looked great for our day. the food was great and got raves from everyone.
Frank was great and easy to work with. he seemed to get the idea of our style real quick. Anything we didn't pick out personally, he selected a perfect song for it anyways. He also helped us with things we didn't even consider... like getting the plates of food from the buffet for us so we don't mess up our gown/tux.
for the price and wonderful garden look, Robin Hill was perfect. Small venue for an intimate gathering. Only thing i wished we planned for was a setup and breakdown crew so we didn't have to do it ourselves.
Tim with group reservations was great. He made planning my reception at the amusement park easy and everything went through flawlessly. The day of, he let us in the park early for photos and set up. He ended up driving us around all over the park making sure we got the perfect locations for our photos. They assisted with every odd request i came up with, including providing Kennywood Park post cards for us to use as 'save the date' cards.
Hyatt was great and easy to work with. I hate working over the phone, and their group coordinator worked great with me over e-mail. The hotel was real nice, with plenty of space and a comfortable couch to sit on, so you don't have to be in bed whenever you are in your room. We only had one guest from the airport, but they drove him around to wherever he needed to be in the robinson area when I wasn't able to do so myself.
