Because our wedding was somewhat on the outskirts of town, and many of our guests were not from this area, we chose wedding maps to create a flyer to add to our invitations. The maps were very helpful to our guests. As a cake artist, I deal with brides on a regular basis and I recommend wedding maps to all my brides@
We had our ceremony and reception at the Ho-Sta-Geh. The restaurant in located at the top of a hill that overlooks a beautiful valley. The fall colors were absolutely stunning and provided us a gorgeous background for our wedding pictures. The food was incredible, and the price was reasonable. Top notch service...I could not say enough good things about them!
Marika is truly the most gifted photographer in this area. You will have to check out her website and see her work...it speaks for itself!
Ok...I am being a little bias here..lol. Yes, I made my own wedding cake and my husbands groom's cake. But hey, I knew what I wanted and knew I wouldn't get it anywhere but in my own kitchen...and the price was right!
The Ho-Sta_Geh provides a beautiful setting for a romantic wedding anytime of year. We chose the fall, and the view overlooking the valley and the fall foliage was breathtaking. The staff is wonderful, and will work with you to make sure your wedding is everything you dreamed it could be. The food is out of this world delicious!
They originally lost our reservations for our room and the block of rooms for our guests. We were horrified as this was a holiday weekend and EVERY hotel was booked solid. We had a hard time dealing with the staff about the problem but corporate came through for us and miraculously found us five rooms and gave us our room for free because of the mix up. For this reason I gave four stars...otherwise I would have given less.
The Hampton was completely unreasonable. The rates were ridiculously high. They were unwilling to work with us and give us a decent rate to book our room and our guests....we went elsewhere!
