Andrew and Anthony were absolutely amazing and I would reccomend them to anyone! I don't think they have a website so it was difficult to find their information but their phone number is (914) 473-1836. I knew what kind of "feeling" I wanted my ceremony to evoke and I knew the kind of ambiance I wanted but I had trouble finding non-typical musical pieces that would definately do that. Andrew came up with a bunch of songs that were perfect, which saved me so many hours of research. I also had a very specific piece I wanted them to play, but no sheet music existed. Andrew and Anthony were able to recreated the piece perfectly on their own which was really really impressive! They are incredibly talented so although they are just a duo, when they play together, it's so powerful that it sounds like many more instruments playing.
My wedding colors were black and ivory with green as an acent color. Arcadia made large, tall centerpieces made mostly of green hydrangeas and casablanca lillies. They were absolutely stunning! Everyone fought over them at the end of the night! They truly looked straight out of a bridal magazine and they simply MADE the room. My bridesmaid's bouquets were green spider mums and baby orchids. They were a little small, and the MOH's bouquet was not any bigger than the bridesmaids (it was supposed to be) but they were still beautiful and exquisitely done. My bouqet was large and made from white and ivory hydrangeas. It came out gorgeous. The whole package was an average price (I paid about $3,000 for everything) but it was definately worth a lot more, especially since it included all the bouquets and boutineers, ceremony flowers, reception centerpieces, flowers for the cake, a restroom arrangment, a thow-away bouqet for the toss, an extra boutineer for the groom, and probably more I can't even remember. Their flowers were fresh, they were on time and very professional, and their store had tons of samples to look at (although they do make you one of your own to see).
There are simply no words to describe how awesome my reception was thanks to The Fountainhead! Service was excellent, the ambiance was amazing, the food was overwhelming (in a good way), the bridal attendant (Michelle) and banquet captain (Peter)were incredibly attentive and made the night flawless. All of my guests raved about the extensive and grand cocktail hour, the 4 course dinner, plated dessert, wedding cake, and the awesome pastry table, cordials, and chocolate fountains (yes, more than one). You get to order your meal that night, which guests loved, and they worked with all my vendors so that the whole event went off without a hitch. I wanted a cake they didn't typically make - no problem, they did it anyway. Most importantly, I was shocked when I first met with Peter and Andy and realized this was totally affordable! I looked at nearly every place in New Rochelle and most places in Fairfield county CT...The Fountainhead blew them all out of the water, BY FAR - what you get for SUCH a reasonable price, cannot be beat...anywhere!
Everything was very comfortable. Shalon Wolf was our representative. She was very nice and very helpful but I felt they could have offered me more (one night in our suite comped) seeing as how my party accumulated 90 rooms being booked. Also, there is only 1 big suite so if you want it, book it ASAP - like at least 5-6 mo. in advance. The junior suites are simply not big enough for a bridal party to get ready in. Also, if your reception is in New Rochelle, it's not really far, but it's just far enough to be a little annoying. However, you might not have a choice since this is probably the best (nicest and cleanest) hotel in the area.
The church was beautiful, clean, and grand. The ceiling mural is very impressive and grand. We had 200 people at the ceremony and everyone fit very comfortably yet the church looked nice and filled. We went with a full mass which was about 1 hour but Fr. Azrak is fairly flexible if you'd like a shorter ceremony. HOWEVER, please note...if you want to get married here - expect to do a receiving line! We didn't want one and were very dissapointed because it ate up nearly all of out photo taking time. If you do a full mass + reciving line with 200 people, make sure you make the ceremony at least 2 hrs. before the cocktail hr.
