We had a fantastic wedding weekend! The Hyatt was the perfect location for a wedding in Cleveland with a lot of OOT guests. Everyone LOVED the bowling Friday night at the Corner Alley and the Arcade looked gorgeous for the reception! All of our friends partied both nights at the bars on E. 4th street and got a great first impression of Cleveland!
Troy Entertainment was great to work with. Lee was our specific DJ and he did a great job! The dance floor was packed the entire night, he played all the songs I wanted and none that I didn't want and fit them together in and order that worked for the event. He also used a few props (streamers) which were fun but followed our wishes to not get too crazy with the props. I would definitely recommend Troy Entertainment and Lee to other brides!
The cake tasted amazing! Everyone at the wedding agreed. Presentation-wise there was one little spot that wasn't perfect, but for the price, it was was great!
Ramona does an amazing job and she's very reasonable priced as well! I loved the fact that a trial is included. It made me feel very comfortable with what would happen on the wedding day. Pictures so far look great! Definitely worth the little extra of hiring someone to do my makeup.
Tracy is an amazing artist! I loved my flowers and all the BM bouquets. The flowers are also very reasonably priced if you agree to give her a little artistic freedom in terms of extra filler flowers to used. My only complaint was the centerpieces weren't exactly what I wanted. I can't be too upset because they looked soooo good... just a little frustrating because it makes me feel like she didn't listen 100% to what I wanted. Still, for the $$, amazing work!
I may be partial because I attend this church, but it is gorgeous! Debbie the coordinator was very helpful with everything. Reverend Steiger did a fantastic job with the ceremony! Everyone kept raving about what a good ceremony it was. The organist there was great as well. If you're looking in Cleveland Heights, I would consider this church!
I have to give it 5 stars because the venue is just breathtaking. The architecture is amazing, location is great, food is fantastic and service is impeccable. This isn't to say we didn't have a few glitches. They ran out of vodka and rum at one of the bars (not acceptable with us paying a per person bar price). And the venue is a little pricey for Cleveland. But definitely one of the most unique venues in the city which is the reason I picked it in the first place! I would have it there again in a heartbeat.
Service was great, rooms were great... they charge a fee to deliver guest bags. I finagled my way out of that, but it seemed pretty ridiculous to me. It is also a little pricey and parking is rough as well. In terms of a luxury hotel though and being super convenient for everything, it was great!
We had a blast at the Corner Alley! We invited all our friends and out of town guests to join us here for bowling after the rehearsal dinner. We paid for lanes for 3 hours and some snacks for everyone. All of our friends loved it and it was a great chance for everyone to get to meet, hang out, etc. Then we continued the night out on E. 4th street afterward. It was perfect with everyone staying at the Hyatt!
