We had 100 guests to the ceremony and two receptions to embrace both of our families' preferences. This was probably the most fun I have had all year. We did use wedding mapper's instructions on how to create good local maps with places that were relevant to our guests (lodging, food, venues)- very easy to use and very convenient.
we got to pick every song we wanted to hear. they were prompt and did what they said they would do, including helping us surprise a relative with a birthday cake during our wedding reception!
Good price ($300), but we had to do all of the work. Contract states a mansion representative will be there to advise, but they were out of town. We had to get the key out of the mailbox, let ourselves in, and lock it up again after we were done. Relatives were enlisted to do much of the work. I would not want to put them through that if I had known in advance what we were in for. Other than that, it was a beautiful location.
The staff at the Hilton were good about prompt responses to my concerns. They followed through with all of their promises- the food was excellent and the tables were set up beautifully. They coordinated with the other venders to make our day go smoothly. The staff went above and beyond- the coordinator was present during our reception to ensure our standards were met and when some stepped on and tore my dress, the chef actually sewed it back together for me. They were awesome.
