We had a wonderful wedding and enjoyed planning our big day. The majority of our wedding was DIY, and it turned out beautiful. Wedding Mapper was the best wedding website/tool I found--allowing us to personalize every detail. I am unsure of how many people utilized the website, but I was glad I could provide them with a place to go for answers to every possible question.
We went with HyVee for the bridal bouquet and the men's flowers. I was disappointed with the way my bouquet looked as a final product--they did not have the flower I requested in store, so I took a chance on what it would look like. They were INCREDIBLY easy to work with and had many photos to look through at planning time.
AMAZING registry vendor! They were always happy to help and very friendly and congratulatory. When one of the plates we received was broken, they were apologetic and willing to send out a replacement.
WONDERFUL to work with. He met with us prior to booking and showed us various photos and wedding portfolios. He is friendly and laid back. The best part was he didn't spend HOURS AND HOURS on family photos, so we could really enjoy the day. He captured the 'moments.' That is exactly what I was looking for.
The mercantile was a wonderful place to hold a reception. They were very easy to work with, and everyone was very friendly the night of the wedding. We were given plenty of time in the space to get everything decorated and situated the night before. The venue looked beautiful with our personal touches. We heard many positive comments from our guests regarding the great service and staff. And there were no surprises when it came time to pay at the end of the night.
Great prices. At times I had a hard time getting a read on how many rooms were still available in our block. The hotel was great about coordinating the delivery of welcome gifts to our guests.
