Our wedding was fantastic. Although past peak foliage, it was still a beautiful time of year for our guests to visit. We had Mt Monadnock as our backdrop, which is beautiful regardless of the season. We were also lucky enough to have an unseasonably warm day which made our outdoor photos more pleasant. It got a little chilly when the wedding started but we got married as the sun set -- which was amazing. The location was perfect, the food was good, the drinks flowed, and the DJ kept everyone on their feet -- a GREAT night!!
Bob Libby was great -- we loved his whole approach, trying to get a feel for what we wanted and what our crowd wanted. He had the dance floor packed ALL night, and got compliments from guests in every age range.
The flowers were gorgeous -- they had great ideas to add in to what I brought (seeded eucalyptus in the bridesmaids' boquets) -- everything was even prettier than I'd imagined! They were great to work with as well.
Kate was awesome -- our photos are BEAUTIFUL. She was great to work with during our consult as well as on the day of. She offered some flexibility in her packages which was perfect for us. She really captured the day!
We got school buses to bring people to & from the hotels (in Keene) and the wedding (in Jaffrey). They were VERY reasonably priced and people loved having that option -- especially since most of them were not from the area and were staying in hotels. Definitely call these guys for a quote.
The Shattuck was GORGEOUS. We had some issues while figuring things out with the coordinator there (changing prices and what not) but everything worked out to our satisfaction. Everyone who worked there day of was fantastic -- especially the bartenders. The location was gorgeous, the food was delicious -- we were SO happy with this venue.
The hotel was great, no one reported any problems. The pool was nice and the included free, hot breakfast was great. Some family members also enjoyed hanging out at the bar.
This place was great, staff was friendly, and we ended up earning a free room because enough people booked there, though we didn't find out until after. Continental breakfast included, recently renovated. Not as many people stayed here as at the BW, and neither of us stayed here so we can't give as much detail.
The Pub was perfect for our rehearsal dinner -- it was pretty big, with lots of out of town family and friends invited. They gave us the entire backroom. The food was very tasty and very reasonably priced, plus they had a lot of options. Drinks were also very reasonable. Staff was great and friendly!
The EF Lane was definitely a nice experience. Only a few guests stayed here but they give the bride & groom a reduced rate for an upgraded room (with a jacuzzi tub). It was great to relax here after our great wedding! Small breakfast was included. Right downtown which was great for people who wanted to go out after the wedding or explore the shops the day before or after.
