Our wedding in Nassau was everything we dreamed it'd be. We were married in the dead of summer, over the 4th of July long weekend. It was, of course, hot, but the water was incredible - warm and glassy. Our guests were in heaven. We were married at the Lyford Cay Club, where my family has been living/visiting for ~40 years. We did not spend nearly as much as we thought for a destination wedding, but then again, we kept our number to 90 guests. We had the BEST time the entire weekend and felt we spent some quality time with each guest - as if we were on vacation with our family and best friends - which we were!
Her cake was absolutely to die for. We had a standard vanilla cake with vanilla frosting, and the guests went wild for it. Very beautiful, and equally tasty. Our guests are STILL talking about it.
They were very easy to work with and accommodating (especially when it came to our budget). Their ideas are unique and Bahamian influenced - exactly what we were looking for - a local flare! They were fantastic.
We hardly noticed Ben was even there! He slipped in and out of sight and took stunning images throughout the entire day/evening. He was so fun to work with, listened to what we wanted, and came with a positive and fun attitude.
Small, beautiful church that holds about 100 people. It was the perfect size for our wedding and a no-brainer considering I (the bride) was christened there 27 years earlier!
