Arthur at Babylon Floral was great! He has a beautiful and peaceful shop, and he is simply an amazing artist. The flowers were very reasonable and gorgeous!! He is very professional and cool. I would recommend him highly as the best florist in Denver.
The best Jordan Almonds you will ever have! We ordered 10 pounds!! I am from the East Coast and I know what good jordan almonds should taste like, and we keep eating them everyday, and it's been a month since our wedding! Call em'.
I did my homework and these guys were the nicest and gave us the best deal. In the end we only rented chairs, but they have everything you could possibly need for your special occasion!
Philka has this as a side business, and if you would like a very good price, she can make any cake your heart desires. Her phone number is (303)988-4884 and she lives in Lakewood, Colorado. We were very pleased with our wedding cake!
The Papery has been in Denver for as long as I can remember. It is a very small store packed with beautiful cards and invitations, etc. Shirley owns the business and Connie who helped me was great! They have a great selection of classy invitations and we were able to find some that suited our budget and taste, they looked like Cranes, but a third of the price! One of Denver's great little shops. At 728 S. University Blvd., phone (303)744-1643.
Many people turn their noses up at this establishment. Why are you shopping at David's Bridal?!, someone said to me! How snobbish! For anyone's information, I went to the fancy stores in Cherry Creek, like Pricilla of Boston and I was so unimpressed, it was a mess! The gowns were ripped and torn, etc. I was not looking to spend a lot for this wedding, it was to be a casual affair, but went to David's Bridal just looking for a veil and found the most beautiful long dress, and yes ladies, for $99.00. It was perfect and modern and beautiful, just what i wanted! It had to be altered, and yup, they will get you with the alteration price, but Inna did a fabulous job and had my dress ready in plenty of time. It is not a full service salon, but if you need help, there is someone always there to help you. My experience there with my mom was one I will never forget. It was perfect.
We purchased over $150.00 in paper lanterns for our wedding and I ordered them very late, but Asian Ideas got them to us two days before the wedding and they were gorgeous! It was an easy website and the people at Asian Ideas sent nice little emails to thank us. Highly recommended!
We spent a couple days with our four friends as our mini-honeymoon in Steamboat Springs. Chateau Chamonix was perfect, we had a private 3 bed, 3 bath condo that was extremely clean and comfortable. It had all the Steamboat trappings, like rustic western decor, but super comfy couches and beds and linens. We had the master suite with jetted tub and steam shower! It was soooo much fun!
Fox Hollow Golf Course in Lakewood, Colorado is incredibly beautiful. They have an outdoor pavilion where we had our ceremony and wedding. The price was very reasonable and the staff is great! They made everything effortless. We had such a perfect day and will go back for breakfast and lunch!
