Good time... just a few minor problems, but it was still great.
The place is pretty inside but I was disappointed with Ruby's Hall. It is very expensive to rent for one day, his price doesn't include linens for the tables (which can be expensive to rent if you need 20 tables). The owner was nice on the phone and in person until he received the last payment and when I spoke with him on the day of my reception. I was told that I was paying to rent the building from early in the morning until 12:00 at night. What he doesn't mention is that, you get the hall in the morning, but your party or reception can only last for 6 hours from the time it starts. So if your reception begins at 3:00, you must be out by 9:00. Our DJ told us, he overheard the owner and security guard talking in the back, they had made up that rule just to get us out of there early. The place is next to a junk yard, and the day of my wedding (a Saturday) they decided to schedule landscapers to come in and tear up the front yard of the hall. While my guests were arriving a bunch of sweating half naked older men were plowing in front of the hall. Don't book this hall, spend your $1300 on a country club reception/banquet hall.
