Our wedding was absolutely amazing! We spent a lot of time and energy doing our research to find reasonably-priced vendors who fit our personalities and it was worth all of the efforts as you can see by the many positive reviews. (I learned a lot about wedding vendors, so even if our vendors don't pique your interest, let me know since I did a ton of research; I might be able to help.) We only had a problem with one vendor, other than the hotel, who I am not at liberty to review at this time. That and the unseasonably cold day were the only minor annoyances to our perfect day. Wedding Mapper was a great tool to create maps included with our invitations since we had many older people from out of town without GPS units.
Rabbi Syme was amazing and he was the perfect fit as an officiant for our Jewish ceremony. Everyone said what a wonderful job he did. Unfortunately, I think he is in semi-retirement.
This is a small local place in Detroit, but it's worth the effort. Our cake was delicious and inexpensive. I highly recommend this place.
Sue was wonderful. She has a great eye for putting flowers together and she is so sweet. I highly recommend her.
Joel was great. He crafted my engagement ring and my wedding ring at a reasonable price. He also took care of my invitations! I highly recommend him.
We had such a large wedding party that we used a mini-coach. It was a lot cheaper than a limo and we had a ton of room. Stephanie was great to work with and the bus driver was very accommodating. I highly recommend them.
The guys looked great and the owners were wonderful. This is the most reasonable place to rent a tux in the area. I highly recommend them.
I love St. Christopher! Fr. Charles is a great pastor and the parish is very welcoming. You still have to go through the pre-wedding classes, but they're a piece of cake and everyone is so nice. I highly recommend St. Chris.
This place was perfect if you can get past it being attached to a church. Szegedi's has amazing food and it was delicious. The hall is a good size and it looks like a real wedding hall as opposed to a church hall. They were very accommodating. I highly recommend them.
The accommodations were nice and they gave the people in the block a good deal, but that was it since we didn't book the requisite 10 rooms. I paid for a suite and I didn't get a discount since it wasn't part of the block arrangement. They didn't give me a honeymoon suite, nor did we get anything like flowers or champagne. No one really seemed to recognize our wedding. Unless you have a lot of out of town guests, I DO NOT recommend this hotel.
