Isabella and John's Wedding

Our wedding was great. It was an extremely hot day in Sydney - 42ºC. February 5th 2011 was the hottest day in Sydney’s 2011 summer. The ceremony was in the beautiful old sandstone St Andrew’s Cathedral by the Townhall.

The church flowers were done by John’s mother and they were lovely; on every pew and bunches at the front of the church.

We had a choir and the organ for the church music along with church bells ringing out as we left the church.

The photo shoot was filmed and shot in and around St Andrew's in Sydney's CBD after our ceremony; later we went to The Rocks on Sydney’s harbour and up on Sydney’s Observatory Hill before heading off to the Reception at La Montage. Thankfully it was air-conditioned!!!!

Before our wedding day Vogue Video had filmed a pre-wedding shoot called a Love Story. We had a delightful day with them wandering the Botanic Gardens and filming this video to show at our reception. They made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and able to be ourselves and it looked fantastic at the reception.

La Montage was a great venue for our reception and they looked after us fabulously!
