Getting married outside in Tennessee in August was going to be a challenge, but luckily making it as small as we could we managed to pull it off and the weather held. Almost all our guests were able to join us for the rehearsal dinner as well as the ceremony and reception, which made the wedding weekend very special and fun!
Carlos is incredibly talented, professional and accommodating. He played our wedding ceremony last August and was willing to learn any song we asked him to (and we had some unique requests!). The songs sounded fantastic and he was a joy to work with. I couldn't recommend him more highly!
I must also admit I was leaning more toward wanting a string quartet or something more traditional for the ceremony, and my husband convinced me to go this route instead. I am so happy we took the risk. It couldn't have turned out better! Definitely, if you are considering hiring him, do it!
Lillie Belle's was a fantastic venue for our wedding reception. The food catered there was excellent and they were accommodating for any time we needed to meet with them or just walk through the venue during planning. We had our dinner indoors since we were worried about the heat, and then dancing and dessert outside in the back (there is a built in roof over the backyard, which helps for rain risk!). Our cocktail hour was supposed to be on the front lawn, but a little rain that rolled in just before that moved us indoors, turned out fine though! We just moved the bar onto the front porch and everyone came right in. I think they appreciated the air conditioning anyway!
A fairly typical Marriott (is there anything better than their beds!), but the staff here is absolutely fantastic. They took great care of our guests and the hotel was located near the highway, which hopefully made it convenient to get to the wedding locations in Frankin and to get back to the airport to go home.
