We had a fabulous wedding day. Started out with a ceremony on the beach at Honeymoon State Park, followed by a reception at Bon Appetit Restaurant.I would recommend getting married before Memorial Day weekend if you're planning on getting married on the beach in Florida, as it gets hot here fast and hurricane season starts in June. Keep in mind that Spring Break is March and April, which makes airfares and hotel rates skyrocket a bit for your out of towners. If you're looking to keep vendor prices down, look into getting married on any day OTHER than Saturday, as that's the most expensive and booked day of the week for events. And if you're getting married outdoors, have a back-up plan worked out before you sign anything or you could get disappointed by bad weather blues, soaking you and your guests.
Brooke was very professional and friendly from the first consultation through the less than 2 weeks it took her to post our photos online for us to view. The photos were not only beautiful and affordable, but just what we asked her for and more as well! I wouldn't hesitate to book her again for our family photos or recommend her to my friends and family for their professional photographer needs!
Jude, our DJ from Grant Hemond & Associates, was very friendly and professional. He helped our reception run smoothly and played EXACTLY what we did want to hear and NOTHING we asked not to hear!
Exactly what we asked for in our wedding ceremony set-up on the beach! The staff really wants your special day to be as perfect as an outdoor wedding can be.
Beautiful venue to have a wedding reception, with a great view of the Gulf of Mexico. Very friendly event staff, are willing to make your special day perfect! Only had to walk a few hundred feet back to our honeymoon suite, as there is a beautiful hotel adjacent to the restaurant, where our guests stayed as well.
