Getting married on Valentine's Day was characteristic of our romantic natures. Being married in Cumberland was important because our home and church are in Cumberland. The time of year was a gamble, and the risk of snow was there, however we knew that no matter what the weather, no matter what the location, we knew that our marriage would be strong and undetermined by these factors.
We couldn't have asked for better photographers! They are attentive to details and catered the photographs to our personal style.
Ellen did an excellent job with our cake and it tasted amazing! The only minor problem I had was that I asked for a fondent ribbon at the bottom of each layer and for rhinestone pins, and got actual satin ribbon with pear pins.
Dan did everything he could to ensure that the tuxedos were amazing! He even convinced my dad that ascots were NOT the way to go. He was also very good at easing my pre-wedding stress!
The flower quality was impeccable and Jay was a pleasure to deal with. The only problem I had was with the inattention to two small details. One being that I asked for rhinestone pins in my bouquet handle, not pearl. The other was that all of the vases on the centerpieces were to be filled with birch branches, and only half of them were, the other half were filled with long stem roses which were pretty, but not what I asked for. Otherwise, everything was great.
This is our personal church and since we have a good relationship with our priest he made the sermon very personal and special.
The venue is very plain, however they allow you to decorate as much or as little as you like. The cook will cater his menu to your liking, however they specialize in Portuguese cuisine.
Amazing customer service. Joy Lubrano was great to deal with and the staff paid such special attention to us. I would highly recommend this vendor!
