Our wedding was awesome! we had a blast and a lot of fun. This was a destination wedding for us and most of our guests. They liked that Staten Island was accessible to Manhattan. Our vendors were great!
Ok, so originally we thought we couldn't afford a video, but my husband was persistent and boy was it worth it. This company is extraordinary! The company is in Oregon, and NYC. Ryan Rossman shoots wedding films in NYC and not only is he very personable, but you won't even know he's there that day. He was so un-intrusive, yet he captured everything! I mean everything. If you want your wedding captured in a unique, artistic, one of a kind way, then you need to call Ryan!Plus, it cost a little extra, but you won't regret getting the Featurette along with your wedding documentary. It's like watching a music video of your wedding day!
Nicotra's Ballroom is one of the most elegant venues you'll find on Staten Island. We got married under the gazebo in their wonderful garden. By the way, the gazebo is breathtaking...it was flown in from Italy! Whoa. Anyhoo, the service was amazing. Our coordinator was Andrea Victorio...she was with us every step of the way. The staff treats you like royalty on the big day and the chef personally met with us at the tasting to incorporate cultural dishes. I'd highly recommend Nictora's!
We used the Hilton Garden Inn in Staten Island. Our wedding package included use of the gazebo for our ceremony, honeymoon room, bridal attendant, etc. The service was excellent. They make you feel like royalty. Only caution, is if you have a day time wedding, your honeymoom room will be a regular room. If you get married at night, then you'll get the whole works in a nice suite.
