Our wedding was great! There isn't a huge array of choices in the Waldorf area, but we really enjoyed the venues we chose. Waldorf is good because of its proximity to Washington (in case guests would like to make a whole weekend out of their travel), and because it has a variety of hotels to choose from for such a small area.
Our DJ was Jason. He did a great job! Very flexible, very responsive. We actually called Elite Beatz about 3 weeks before the wedding, and they were able to accommodate our last-minute request wonderfully! He was able to get all of the songs we requested, played great music for the whole reception and really set the tone for a fun night. I would definitely book him again for events needing a DJ!
We were in the mid-sized room (the "G room"), and Sandy helped us plan our event. The reception was great- all of my guests had a wonderful time and enjoyed the food, the bar, and the dance floor. I would definitely recommend Waldorf Jaycees to anyone looking for a reception venue in this area!!
We used only the church, not the hall. The church and grounds are lovely, and the pastor and staff were easy to work with. We were coming from outside of the area (this was my childhood church, and I have since moved), but they allowed us to get married here as long as we had all of our necessary information (proof of registration in our parishes, permission from our parishes, and completed pre-cana). They even let us easily bring in an outside priest, which was so meaningful to both of us.
Since I didn't use the church hall, I cannot comment on it. The church itself, however, was great!
