Our wedding was great! Getting married in Santa Barbara on a 15k to 20k budget is possible if you do your homework and leave plenty of time to plan. September is a great time of the year in Santa Barbara, the weather was perfect. I wouldn't recommend June as you can pretty much count on the June gloom. September is not too hot and has low rainfall. Oh, and Wedding Mapper was a great resource to share with our guests. We'd highly recommend using it!
Justen and her crew were amazing from start to finish. The food was so good my foodie boss from Brentwood complimented it, and they have the best prices in Santa Barbara. Justen went above and beyond. She knew I had a citrus theme, so she added lemon slices to the water without being asked. That is just one example of the extra little touches she took the time to add for us. The servers were also well dressed and attentive. I am a huge fan of Cliff and Co.
Our dj Britt was great. He was fun but not cheesy. There was some miscommunication with the owner about the type of microphone we wanted for the officiant though.
The prices are great and the flowers are beautiful. Don't use them if you are picky about shade of flower though. I asked for pale orange roses and ended up with a bright coral color.
Good price and good location. Decent hotel for the money and lets you do a Saturday only wedding block. HOWEVER they lost many of our guests reservations. It was a good thing that I checked on them a couple of weeks before the wedding.
They were easy to deal with and offered us a Saturday only room block. I don't think any of my guests stayed here though, because it was too far from the wedding venue.
This was a great place to spend our honeymoon night. They blocked rooms for us too. This is one of the few places in Santa Barbara that will let you do a Saturday only wedding block.
Perfect venue for my wedding. Godric Grove is spectacular on a clear day. Sometimes had trouble getting a call or email back from the event coordinator thoguh.
