Kenny was fantastic. He was very patient with all of our preparation and was gracious to meet with us prior to the event to review the timeline. In addition, Kenny's experience helped to drive the entire flow of the reception.
Kelly is a great photographer. She goes with the flow of the wedding and does not interfere. We got a great set of prints and hope to work with her again in the future. Her pricing is more in-line with a big-city photographer, and may not fit in with the norm of the Utica area, but you get what you pay for...a great experience.
The Blue Flag Room helped us to organize an outdoor ceremony, right behind the train station, outside of the BFR's entrance. It turned out to be a great day (a little sprinkle) and didn't cost us any extra money.
Dave and Company at the Blue Flag Room did a great job helping us to prepare for the big day. The food was great.
We did struggle somewhat with the service at the bar for some stints throughout the evening. Dave was quick to get that fixed. The hardest part was the temperature. The air conditioner is controlled by the Train Station and it was not able to keep the venue cool, especially up on the stage, where everyone was gathered.
The Hampton Inn was a great hotel experience. We were able to block a large number of rooms and keep them blocked without any penalty if they didn't get used. The management team at the Hampton was great and verfy accomodating to our needs. They helped with the "Out of Town" bags and with organizing the conference room for breakfast with the guests. Talk to the manager about using the conference room for other gatherings as well during your stay.
