Our wedding was absolutely wonderfly and so incredibly unique. We held both the ceremony and reception in my grandmother's garden. My husband and I are both biologists, and having the birds singing and nesting around us, and the spring peepers chirping in the old oxbow behind us was so surreal. Rain was not in the forecast, but it ended up raining all the way up until the ceremony. It stopped as I walked down the aisle and never showed it's ugly face again. We did most of the decorations, favors, etc on our own or with the help of my huge family and I'm so lucky I have such wonderful pictures to help remember our special day with.
Diane is out of Rockport, Texas. She and her husband, Dit, gave me THE most amazing engagement, bridal, and wedding pictures. Diane is extremely easy to work with and very flexible with your schedule!!
We didn't want a very religous wedding, but both of our families were very regligous. We wanted more of a non-denominational ceremony that still had a regligous feel to it. Pastor Murray listened very closely to what we wanted and also encouraged us to write our own vows, which turned out beautifully. He incorporated our beliefs, careers, and hobbies into the ceremony and all of the guests commented on how great he was. Several of my family members even joined his church afterwards. Highly recommend him.
We had our invitation paper custom made with wildflower seeds, and then made our own invitations. I LOVE this company and the variety of papers they offer!!
