We had a fabulous couple of wedding events! Wedding Mapper was used for both bi-coastal receptions & really helped our guests know where each event was (rehearsal dinner, hotels, receptions, etc). I highly recommend!
DJ Natalie worked with us long distance (my husband & I married in LA & were having a reception in Clinton Twp), and was just fabulous! We couldn't meet in person, so she hopped on the line for a conference call, was very communicative via email, and just rocked the house on the day of our reception. I can't recommend her enough!!
Christine's did an amazing job with our cakes! We had small cakes for each table as a centerpiece and one larger cake in the shape of two stacked books. It looked amazing, and tasted even better! I highly recommend their lemon cake with raspberry filling... :)
I was pleased with Mirage for the most part--it was affordable, the location was good, the facility was swanky, the waitstaff was excellent, and the food was good! They also helped us do some specialty stuff, like have a screen & projector. The only challenge I ran into was that the hall came with a day-of event coordinator that we didn't know about beforehand. That may sound like a good thing, but had I known, I would've very much liked to meet with them BEFORE the event so we could've discussed the details of what would happen when. We went to great lengths to plan the day, only to have the coordinator insist that many things happen in a different order & it felt like we were thrown for a loop. These changes caused some chaos with the pre-party hor d'ouevres & the cake (ie. the Cocktail Hour hor d'ouevres were only out for 20 min, and the cake was cut waaaaay too early & there were major mixups about which flavors went to which tables). Other than the coordinator, the venue was great!
