We have amazing memories of our wedding! there is nothing i would change! we choose to have accomplished professionals surrounding us which made the day a bit expensive but as far as i know there were no problems all day long and everyone had so much fun! an outdoor wedding reception can be a bit risky and it almost rained on our wedding day but we lucked out. i think everyone would have taken care of us even if it had rained we probably wouldn't have noticed.
We loved our band! it has been six months since our wedding and people are still talking to me about how much fun they had and what a perfect last song we had. the song wasn't even a typical "last song" it just matched the vibe of the room so perfectly. concetta is so wonderful to work with!
i couldn't have organized my wedding without these caterers. olive is more of a wedding planner than a caterer. she helped organize every aspect of our wedding day and on the day of the wedding made sure everything flowed and happened without a hitch. she was the biggest asset to our wedding day planning!
We had a great experience using Christ the King. we have been parishioners since i was born and felt it was an obvious choice. my sister was married there 11 years ago and had a different experience than i did because the pastor has changed hands. Msgr Hoye was fantastic through the whole process.
We loved Nauticus. It was a gorgeous location. there are more "rules" here than at most wedding locations partly to do with it being a private location and partly to be that it is a marina. ken was great to work with and on the day of he made sure everything went smoothly. the biggest drawback for us was that the everyone had to leave the marina by 8:30. we almost didnt have the wedding here for that reason but we ended up organizing an afterparty at my parents house (which was also a big success).
