The flowers were beautiful and fairly priced for the type of flowers we had (orchids and hydrangeas). Our only issue was, we were given a price quote a few months before the wedding which was a few hundred dollars less than the one given to us just weeks before the wedding. It was just a miscommunication and we decided we could only afford the centerpieces and my bouquet and went with silks for everything else. They were very kind and had no problem changing the order weeks before the wedding.
If you've read my other florist review you can see we were over budget and needed to find someone to do our cake flowers, bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and an arch on very short notice. I was told to go with silks because they were much cheaper. I was a bit apprehensive because for someone reason I pictured silk flowers being "outdated" (I know it sounds snobby). I worked with the owner Linda and she showed me the flowers. To be honest I couldn't tell they were fake. The flowers were vibrant and realistic, a few of my bridesmaids put their bouquet in water thinking they were real. She did an amazing job on such a short notice and for a third of the price as fresh flowers.
Bella from Vici Capelli in Brookfield came out to my hotel did not only my hair but a few of my bridesmaids hair. Bella is such a sweet girl and really cares about making you look good. She had no problem changing a few minor things (I'm picky when it comes to my hair). My updo stayed perfect all night and didn't looked overly hairsprayed in the process. Glad I found her!
Double Platinum Dj offers uplighting if you book with their Dj service for only a few houndred dollars more. I really wanted uplighting for the wedding but before we found Double Platinum we were quoted prices of $1,500 and up from other vendors and decided it wasn't in our budget. We received many complements on the uplighting, and our pictues turned out beautiful with them. So happy we found this Dj service they were one of our favorite vendors to work with.
We had a fall wedding and had carmel apple favors. Daffy Apples were easy to work with and MUCH cheaper than every other place we looked at. They are smaller than most carmel apples, about the size of a tennis ball but they were the perfect size for a favor. They were under $2.00 per apple which includes the shipping. We chose the carmel apple with crunch incase anyone was allergic to nuts. Not only were they cute and cheap, they were delicious.
Everything was perfect! The hall was beautiful and the staff was friendly and very accommodating. My beer drinking friends were very impressed that they were served in glass pints EVERY drink instead of plastic cups (even though we went through 7 barrels of beer) Those bartenders worked their butts off and even Tom the manager was behind the bar serving drinks.
Jack Norman is the only caterer for the Polish Center. Mark (who I think runs the business) is a great guy, he was always happy to answer our questions or make changes. Many of our quests said this was the best wedding food they ever had, and I counldn't agree more.
