My wedding was beautiful, but then again, we all say that:)
I had an rustic/ vintage outdoor wedding in early April, when the Texas heat hasnt crept in enough to fry you yet during the day, and the last of the cool spring breezes still blow throughout the night. The weather was perfect, minus the near gale force winds before the ceremony; we made old fashioned hand fans and set out water in old tin washing buckets just in case.
The weddingn was on my husband's family ranch, and so we let the beautiful natural surroundings do most of the talking. The ceremony took place below two old oak trees that had grown together to make an arch. our only decorations were the mason jars that held sunflowers and wild purple flowers, hung onto chairs at the end of every aisle, a string of pearls and crystals hanging from the trees, the aisle runner, and us. i arrived in a horse drawn carriage with my mother and left in the same carriage with my husband:)
the reception was up by the barn. we had a large hardwood dancefloor surrounded by two 20x40 tents on each side. tables were scattered throughout. under each tent hung a large chandelier and several spotlights. when it got dark, we couldve used more lighting, so make sure you think of that;)
I am happily married now.
Pros: Great price, very talented, musicians are great people.
Cons: correspondence took forever, they did not play the music we asked for.
Pros: delivery was on time, flowers were fresh and beautiful, debbie's designs were beautiful
cons: expensive, over $700 more than what i was quoted at other places.
Pros: the cake was delicious, tastes were amazing [we got a banana nut cake w/ pb creme frosting for grooms cake and italian creme & red velvet for wedding and cup cakes]
cons: penny was not even at the bakery when we came for an appt., she was extremely rude not only to the bride but also, to some guests when she came to deliver the cake, there was no creativity with my cake design at all, absolutely NO attention to detail; it was decent, but sloppy.
Pros: cheapest bbq catering in town for the amt/lbs of meat you get & it doesnt hurt that its our favorite bc it is ALWAYS delicious. delivery was on time, staff was helpful and nice.
Absolutely, without a doubt, the greatest service I have ever had, anywhere! EVER! Johnathan and his wife are fantastic people. He even helped me set up the ceremony site on the day of my wedding. I cannot say enough good things about Stone Media. The price was fair, the video coverage was extensive, yet non intrusive. All in all, just an amazing experience! If you are looking for a videographer, you will not be sorry for choosing them!!
