I cannot even describe how excited about Christian and my wedding!!! Although I was never the type of girl to dream about my "big day," but I really have had a blast planning what should be a fabulous party for my family and friends. I really just want this to be a fun day for everyone. I cannot wait to post pictures of everything.

I am very excited to be using this venue for my wedding reception in just a few weeks. I actually found this venue while researching locations online for my rehearsal dinner. (The Washingtonian perhaps?) The space itself is exactly what I was looking for: intimate and elegant with a touch of old hollywood glamour. And oh my goodness! There are two fireplaces and stained glass windows. It really is gorgeous. I started looking at the larger private venues and historic homes first and there were so many restrictions I got overwhelmed. Then I looked at a few hotels and just felt the spaces were more affordable, but too impersonal. Elizabeth’s on L was a great combination between the two. So far, including venue, food, staff, flowers, and rental equipment we are paying about 150 per person which is pretty reasonable for DC.
