I'm not sure if we could have asked for a better day. Our wedding was truly a dream come true!! Memorial day weekend was a perfect fit for our guests, all coming from far distances. The weather was flawless and all of our vendors were A++. The only downfall was that it ended too soon. We managed to have an unforgettable day at a relatively affordable price.
beautiful jewelry at affordable prices. they are totally flexible and willing to tweek a design if you request it. Baranette's Bridal in Willow Grove is an authorized dealer.
sorry for the vague info, but she was a friend of my hair dresser, she works out of the King of Prussia Store. She really helped to make me look like a princess, a real one though, she applied the most perfect amount of makeup. My family liked it so much, they had her do them last minute!
We interviewed lots of DJs and definitely picked the best. Bucky Scott was AMAZING! He's energetic and passionate about his work and it really shows. He took the time to get to know us as a couple and played the most perfect music. He was highly professional and SO reasonably priced. I'm searching for a way to use him again.
they were good, pretty accommodating since we live far from them. They are out of NJ and were reccommended by friends. Our photographer helped to keep our day flowing on time and took tons of pics. Prices were reasonable considering you can break the bank on photographers.
This was the largest headache of the wedding but not because of the store. The vendors gave us a hard time and we had to switch bridal party dresses just a few weeks before our day (ugh!). Shelly was very empathetic and did everything in her power to help us out. I would work with her again for sure!
Beautiful flowers, great ideas, Joan was very accommodating and helped me cut cost when needed. A smaller, local store and it really made the difference when it comes to customer services.
Our travel agent was great, she worked to get us the best price and made changes when needed. However, the hotel in Aruba that we went to (Tamarijn/Divi All Inclusive) left a lot to be desired. We changed rooms 3 times, one of our rooms actually flooded, and the management could care less. We got a bottle of wine as compensation for the inconvenience, mind you, we were at an ALL INCLUSIVE resort so we could have all the wine we wanted.
I would book through Liz Sorkin again though!
Tara was fun to work with. Again, another small private owned business that I referred to a friend. Our order was great, she had a large selection to choose from and prices were very affordable.
Pastor Martha is a wonderful woman. Her down to earth manner was so much fun to work with, she really made some tense moments fun. We were so lucky to have such a nice ceremony, our guests talked about it for weeks!
Great food, great service, great venue, great price! Family owned and run is the way to go. The staff at Columbia Station takes pride in serving a very unique and modern, high quality menu. Noreen and Robin were top notch, making sure all of our details were covered. Our quests are still raving about the hors d'oeuvre. We are trying to talk our friends into hosting events there so we can actually sit down and eat the food :)
Initially the Hampton Inn was our backup, but after our first hotel proved to be less than accommodating, they became our #1.
Nicole Ream went above and beyond to make sure our 65+ guests were taken care of. She even reconfigured the system to get us an affordable package that included gift bags for each room, continental breakfast each morning, and a shuttle to and from the reception for our guests. She also got teary eyed when I came down in my dress, arranged for us to stay in suite 525 (our wedding date, May 25th), and even helped our bridal party decorate our suite with rose petals and champagne.
The one slight downfall that we experienced was some confusion that happened over the phone when our guests were making reservations, mainly due to untrained/spacey front desk staff...of which Nicole vowed to make right and even gave me her personal cell phone number to address any further concerns.
