Beautiful spot for both the ceremony and reception. We used the outside balcony for the cocktail hour which was great to have an outdoor element to the day. The rooms were all beautiful, the staff was fabulous, the food was ridiculous! Ridiculous! The chef was very responsive to our preferences, but we also liked that he really focused on what was local and fresh. The have an organic garden onsite, use mostly local and organic sources for their ingredients, and everything comes out hot and perfect. Pretty much impossible to top and all of our guests agreed. We also had a dessert room which the dessert chef completely blew us out of the water with. There were homemade ice creams, homemade marshmallows, amazing fresh fruit, and on and on. The only downside was that both the ceremony room and the reception rooms got too hot. They tried to cool them down, but with doors opening and closing to the outside and such, it just never really got cool in there. Overall, the look of the place was exactly what we had hoped for, the food was over the top excellent, and the service was great. Really whatever you want, they will do for you, get for you, or let you do. The only issue that I had was with the contracting and having to commit (without really knowing that we were committing to it) to a number of guests several months in advance. In general, I would recommend low-balling your guest count if asked to commit to a number way ahead of time because you can always increase it (but you can’t decrease it).
