5 star service is simply not enough to express the quality of both the staff , service and venue. A month before the wedding my husband and I visited the restaurant since we wanted to see for ourselves how it was laid out. We made a reservation for 6pm in July and were treated as VIP guests. They reserved the entire room we would be having our reception in just for us ! It was an incredible first impression. The restaurant itself has a very rustic and quaint feel - it fits right in with Lake Tahoe and came highly recommended by our hotel and I now know why! The food was just phenomenal. For the visit we both had the Broiled Filet - which was accompanied by scalloped potaotes and a fresh medley of crisp sauteed green beans and onion slivers. The filet cut like butter and was melt in your mouth tender. The potatoes were tender and flavorful and the green beans were crisp and cooked very well ! The fresh bread that accompanied dinner was sensational and we all found ourselves craving more ! The owners took the time to check on us personally and kept in touch all the way up to the wedding day and even allowing us to come in nearly 7 hours early to decorate the reception room so we could have the rest of the day to prepare.
When we arrived at the reception on our wedding day everything was set up perfectly. The candles were lit for us - the maroon linens were a beautiful compliment to the oak wood walls and tables. The food was just as amazing as we had remembered it. Our guests were just as pleased with everything and they even printed out a specialized menu just for us! We had all the personal touches we could have wanted and more ! Don't pass up this amazing restaurant.
