True North DJ Services

We used True North for our DJ & up lighting. We lit the head table back drop and their lights looked beautiful. They were great to deal with and we got the look & feel we were hoping for with the lighting.

True North DJ's were absolutely fabulous. The owner, Scott, was fantastic. From day one I knew he was the DJ service for me because he was friendly, organized, and explained everything fully. Throughout the whole wedding planning process he was helpful and quick to respond to any questions or requests I had for our wedding. Our DJ during the wedding, Matt, was also wonderful. He played a variety of music that kept the dance floor going until the lights came on. He also stayed right on schedule as per my requests and was extremely poliet and friendly. I HIGHLY recommend True North DJs to any bride planning a wedding. I must also note that I had my wedding in NS but was living in BC while planning and they were extremely helpful in making the process a stress free one. These guys are GREAT and I will definelty be recommending them to anyone who asks:) Thanks True North DJs for making our wedding a great one!

The DJ was my one and ONLY REGRET from my wedding day. A total waste of money. I would have been better off with an Ipod. My husband and I had worked so hard to create a reception with an atmosphere that matched the rest of the wedding. We even provided the DJ with a playlist, all the music we wanted played and took the extra time to meet in person and explain what we wanted. We were assured that it was understood and not be a problem. On our wedding day we were provided with a 20 year old DJ who was still "in training", was completely unfamiliar with the songs/playlist, lacked experience, and judgment. We made the best of it and after the wedding brought our concerns to the owner only to be met with weak excuses and be ignored. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone who wants professional service.
