Rabbi Familant, Today is our 20th anniversary. We still appreciate your wise advice and want you know Beth (the girl scared to be married) and I are together in Mountain View with 3 wonderful, lively teenagers Jodi, Laura and Tyler. No, sorry to say we never did resolve our religious differences, but are still working on it. At the moment we have 2 Lutherans, 2 Jews and 1 TBD. (The tie breaker kid) I remember the goat story. Wow! We had an interfaith wedding and it was very important to us to find an officiant that we both felt comfortable with and could relate to. Rabbi Familant was the perfect person for the job. We met with him several times over the year before the wedding and he represented us and what we were hoping for perfectly at the wedding. Both sides of the family enjoyed and felt comfortable at the ceremony. Could not have been better.
