I only went this this DJ because our venue, The Hitching Post uses him and he has his equipment set up at the barn. (They charged $200 to remove his equipment)

I emailed him our playlist with nearly 100 songs. He only played maybe 10 of them. I was too wrapped up in my wedding day that I didn't notice he wasn't playing the songs that meant something to us (why we gave him a list)

I asked him twice to make an announcement (and my mom did three times) but he never did.

He played the wrong song when we cut the cake and the wrong song for the mother and son dance.

It took him 45 minutes to play my favorite song that I requested.

I am a laid back bride, but this guy pissed us off. While everyone was ready to dance he was playing songs like "can you feel the love tonight". This wouldn't be a huge deal but I gave him a list to play.

If you care a lot about music, my suggestion (if the hitching post makes you go with him) is to be a bridezilla about the music you want played and make sure everything not on your list is on the do not play list)
