Danceland DJ's

I sent an email to this DJ company 4 weeks in advance with all the songs on it that we wanted for our wedding. They wrote us back and said that the playlist looks great for the wedding. Walked into our first song at the reception, it was the wrong song. DJ played music we did not want to hear. Went to chat with him and asked him why he wasn't playing our playlist?? He stated he did not know of a playlist!! He then texted his boss who was randomly sending text messages of songs for him to play. Did not play most music we wanted to hear. We tried to request songs which he was refusing to play most of the night. I regret booking this company to play music at the wedding. Anyone in the future is better off to rent a DJ speaker and play their IPOD, at least they would save 800 bucks and get the listen to the music they want to! What a waste of money spent! I hope this helps others from having dissappointment at the most important day of their life!

The dance was great! We had a wide range of ages from kids to 80+.

DJ Brad did an awesome job of keeping the dance floor full and keeping all ages involved. He played a great selection of classic 60's - 90's, country, top 40, and fun participation songs. Once the older people got tired out, he turner the place into a dance club. It was perfect for our crowd. Our partiers wouldn't let him go and he played an extra 30 minutes. He was receptive to any of our needs for announcements and other things during the night and covered all of the songs we had requested.

Gil the owner of the company was very good to work with. He communicated with us on a timely basis and was very nice. He more than delivered on everything he promised us.

All in all... We have no hesitation in recommending Danceland DJ's.

DJ screwed up our ceremony music, played some inappropriate songs at the dance, and also called for a hlf hr break when there was none scheduled. The dance he chose to start off with sleepy music from the 50's and 60's... not what we had agreed to. No tip for this terrible DJ and he's lucky we paid him. Also the owner is super hard to get a hold of especially once he has your money. AVOID!

Our DJ was awesome and very accommodating. We met with the DJ prior to the wedding and told them what we wanted and they followed it just right. They set up at our ceremony and played music for ½ an hour before the ceremony started and supplied microphones for the ceremony. After the ceremony they packed everything up and went and set up at our reception. They played music through cocktails and supper and did an awesome job during the dance. They took guest suggestions and played some great music to get people up and dancing. The DJ was very interactive and made sure everyone was having a great time. I would definitely recommend Danceland DJ’s.

We had a great DJ at our wedding, but I believe he moved to Yorkton soon after our wedding. I would still recommend the Danceland DJ's--they were professional, very quick to answer questions by phone or email, and their DJ had everyone dancing!!
