I had the wedding of my dreams at Casa Pestagua. I cannot say enough about how amazing Nayiby and the staff were, and how wonderful my entire experience was!
I'd never visited Cartagena or Colombia before my wedding, and I don't speak Spanish, but I was able to plan it because of Nayiby. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I wanted; she coordinated with other vendors, organized and planned my wedding day, helped my guests feel comfortable, and more. She worked with the florists (amazing centerpieces!) and Elsy (for cake), the wedding site, and more. The wedding day went smoothly because she took care of everything. I couldn't have done it without her.
Casa Pestagua itself is gorgeous. It is even more breathtaking in person than it appears in photos. I hardly needed any decorations because it was already so beautiful. The rooms were gorgeous and very comfortable. All of my guests loved their stay.
Orlando prepared our wedding dinner. Not only was it was the best food I'd ever had at a wedding, it was better than meals I've had at upscale restaurants. All our guests commented on how good it was.
If you're considering having your wedding here, do it. You'll love it.
A great choice for a non-church ceremony venue. The rooftop has a beautiful view of the city around sunset. The only downside is that the space does not allow for a grand entrance or exit, requiring the wedding party to "hide" in the back before entering and people to exit in the front of the ceremony space. Other than that, it's a great spot. Although we didn't do this, one good idea would to have drinks on the rooftop after the ceremony.
We got married at sunset and the sunset was breathtaking.
Excellent!!!!The service was amazing and high quality. Everything in the hotel is top of the line. All of our guest love the hotel, the setting, the service, the food was awesome the people that works there deal with all kind of situation in an incredible way. Totally recommended this hotel for your wedding, the pictures are beautiful and looked like we were back in the seventeen hundreds.
On the The wedding day we had a terrible storm and the hotel staff worked the extra mile for my wedding. They even moved all the tables from one patio to an indoors area so everything will be dry from when the guest arrive but at then end the rain stop after an hour and they star running back and forth so by the time the ceremony was over all the tables and lighting and decorations were back to their original place like nothing ever happen.
They work great under pressure keeping things under control and very professional.
