Proudly serving from Jackson to the Gulf Coast, the members of The 6550's have been synonymous with quality live entertainment for the past 20 years in and around the state of Mississippi. Aside from being professional musicians, all of it's members are professionals within the Hattiesburg, Petal, and Jackson communities. The 6550's are: Ben Jones from Jackson, MS, and Joey Odom and Wes Brooks from Hattiesburg, Ms.

Each member has live entertainment experience going back as far as 20 years sharing events with national and internationally known touring artists. With wide ranging backgrounds and musical taste, The 6550's provide an extremely diverse selection of music as far back as the 50’s and up to what is heard on the radio today. This selection is tailored to suit the needs of any special occasion whether it be rock ‘n roll, modern rock, classic rock, oldies, country, swing, rock-a-billy, R&B, or the blues.
