Darrell House has been a professional performer for more than 40 years. An acoustic guitar player, specializing in the acoustic hits of the 60's and 70's, he brings his deep baritone voice and fluid guitar stylings to the songs to which everyone knows all the words. This is not a "dance act" and may not be your best choice for a reception, but for a soloist at a beach wedding ceremony, he may be the best. He has performed at ocean front weddings on both South Florida coasts and all the way down to Marathon in the Keys. Bride and Groom favorite songs include Peter, Paul & Mary's "The Wedding Song", "Somewhere Over the Rainbow", "Wonderful World", and "Sunrise, Sunset" from Fiddler on the Roof. If you have special requests, he will learn them... anything to make your special day as unique and memorable as possible. A regular at patio bars and restaurants, Darrell also writes music, poetry and stories for kids and families and can often be found performing at schools, libraries and reading festivals. In addition, Darrell is a Florida Notary and available to perform the ceremony.
