The James J. Hill Center has awed and inspired visitors with its historical intrigue and stunning architecture since it opened to the public in 1921. Constructed of Tennessee marble and Minnesota sandstone, it is both a living monument to the Empire Builder, James J. Hill, and a Saint Paul landmark, situated on picturesque Rice Park in the heart of downtown.

An incomparably grand space that accommodates up to 150 attendees for ceremonies with reception and up to 225 attendees for reception only. We offer a list of trusted, preferred caterers. Beverage service is provided by Green Mill Catering or Mintáhoe Catering and Events.

Available on weekends. Open food catering policy with preferred caterers (but others still welcome) and a required beverage provider.
