Lions Park Beach

Lions Park Beach located on Lake Michigan, a half-mile southwest of downtown St. Joseph, offers a 180-degree view of sparkling water for a beachfront wedding. Couples must obtain a permit from the local Lions International Club to hold a beachfront wedding on the beach. The property features parking, restrooms and a playground and is within minutes of several wedding reception sites. The park is an ideal location for post wedding pictures and within a quarter mile are the St. Joseph Pier with lighthouse and Carousel.

We had our ceremony at The Shadowland Pavilion.....and loved it!

You could try the pavilion at Jean Klock Park as well. Or if you want to be on the bluff and more secluded from random beach goers, you could do the pavilion at the Whitcomb.

You might also want to consider the John Howard Bandshell. It's across the street from the Whitcomb, right on the river, overlooking the lake.
