Hello! We wanted an american style cake so we went to Sweety Rome on Via Milano (off of Via Nazionale by the Palazzo di Espozisioni).

I can't remember the website right now, but if you do a google search it will certainly turn up.

We looked in many pastry shops around rome and this was the only one that could agree to make us a cake that was 100% cake (ie without a non-edible, decorated base layer). Alessandra works with you to design your cake as you like it, and provides free tastings of the various cake and icing flavours that she offers. She also delivers for a nominal fee (we paid like 40 Euro for the delivery to our reception site outside the GRA).

Hello, first of all you have to decide type of wedding cake you wish since each patisserie has its own speciality.
Being a Wedding Planner I have different requests according to nationality and so before moving along I need to have an idea of the style required, how many people will be, if they do not wish certain ingredients. So there are a lot of issues behind a simple request "wedding cake".
So cannot advise for sure.
