We are getting married on June 13/09 and are having a very hard time finding a place to do our wedding day pics. OUr ceremony is near dunnville in canboro and our reception is in binbrook.. we are willing to go to parts of vineland, grimsby, beamsville, and not to far into hamilton. Please anyone if they can give me any suggestions!!
Wedding Photos can be taken at Ball's Falls on the south (main entrance) side of the park only. The north section and area around the heritage buildings is reserved for on-site weddings that have booked the facilities. The NPCA does not book wedding photography. It is available on a first-come-first served basis, and is not allowed during NPCA special events. Regular Conservation Area admission fees apply.
so im not sure exactly what area its confied to. there is a bit of a stream and a creek and a barn beside the parking lot.
i cant think of anything else out that way. any park around is probably nice. i really like westfield but its on the far side of hamilton so not really practical for you.
Thanks for the suggestion. WE have tried balls falls and they wont let us as there is another wedding going on there.. as well we have tried vineland estates.. and a few others.. I am just getting a little frustrated... b/c nothing is working out.. something will eventually! Thanks Again Let me know if you think of anywhere else!
have you asked a vineyard (sp?) i dont know exactly what you are looking for or if you are a wineo at all but if you do like wine perhaps something like that. there is a little winery right on the same road as balls falls, just down the road as you head back down the escarpment. its featherstone estate i beleive. its kinda cute, just a small place (they have a really great canberry wine too, its the only wine i like at all). everything else i think of is like downtown hamilton or further. I am getting married at the Scottish Rite in downtown hamilton and they ahve beautiful grounds there so thats where mine will be, if you were willing to go that far you might look at that.
