We are looking to get married in February. February 19th to be exact, and we need a venue. We were pretty sure we'd have it at Casa Monica, but we want to look around. We are having approximately 100 people and our budget is around $15,000 to $20,000 people. Any suggestions? We are not in the area, we are in New York. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The White Room is right around the corner from Casa Monica and is beautiful. It's a little more reasonable than Casa Monica and there's a loft/rooftop (although the weather might be a little chilly in Feb).
I am having my reception at the Hilton Bayfront on New Years Eve this year and they have been wonderful to work with. Stephanie, the coordinator, is great and very helpful with all aspects. Also, we did a food tasting and it was awesome!! Hope that helps you!
The White Room is stunning, Renaissance World Golf Village Resort is pretty too, but I don't know anything about their service yet. If you don't have a photographer consider us, we love St Augustine have been there often and know of many beautiful spots that would make great engagement and wedding photos. All the best.
I just booked my wedding and reception for next November at the River House. I would highly suggest the River House. There is amplie amount of parking, have access to the entire venue, only one wedding/reception booked per day, 6 minute drive from the bridge of lions/ downtown area of St. Augustine, and has a beautiful backdrop of the lighthouse for the wedding. There is a photo of the grand ballroom so you can see the beauty of the River House.
Be careful using Casa Monica because they're known for booking weddings right on top of one another. The White Room and the Riverhouse are better options. We did ours at the San Sebastian Winery. It was wonderful and having around 100 people ourselves it was a nice, intimate atmosphere and costs less than other areas downtown.
How much was San Sebastian Winery? I can see Casa Monica booking multiple weddings in one day. Which is why we are also looking around. We do think it's beautiful and they make it easy to work with them, which is absolutely necessary since we are in NYC. Did you work with someone specifically? Thank you everyone for your help!!
