Wedding Dress Alterations

Love_birds

Hello everyone!

It's getting to that time when I need to get my dress altered. It needs to be taken in and up considerably and I want to add straps. Does anyone have an alterations guru in the Atlanta area that they trust? I live in the Alpharetta/Johns Creek area, but will travel virtually anywhere. Thanks!

Lindsay

Lindsay,

D & E Alterations, which is not close to you, is incredible!! I had several major things done for my wedding and Yumi did an amazing job! My wedding dress had layers upon layers that had to be shortened, a very intimidating task, but she did an amazing job. The bust area of my dress was poorly designed & gaped in the front, she fixed this and it looked perfect. My dress came with a wrap that had beautiful applique embellishments on the ends. I didn't need a wrap so she took the appliques off and put them on the end of my cathedral veil. It turned out so spectacular! I couldn't believe how wonderful my $25 ebay veil looked...like a million bucks!!

I went to Bridal Sense on Roswell road in sandy springs. I was pregnant and was determined to fit into my dress. They altered it up until the week of the wedding so I wouldn't be stuffing my 4 month pregnant belly into a too tight dress. Ideally appreciated that....
