I am having difficulty finding point to point transportation that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. We need transport to/from and back again from the hotel and ceremony/reception sites, about ten miles apart. Any ideas?
Thanks!

I chartered a yellow school bus for transportation from our reception to a post-party location for about $300. Since there weren't many cabs around the reception location, people seemed thrilled with the bus.
Hello,
My cousin owns a limo company. He has the stanard limo's but he also has the large ones that hold about 17 or 18 people.
You can give him a call. His rates are very good. Let him know that Sophia gave you his info.
His name is Peter and his company is Superstar Limos.

Good luck.
I'm the region charter sales manager for First Student and would be able to offer you a discount for school bus transportation for your wedding. Pricing is typically 50-70% cheaper then coach buses. If your interested please feel free to contact me at [email protected]
How many people? We needed transport for the wedding party and photographers (about 18 people total) to drive around and take pictures before the ceremony. After a lot of research on limo and trolley companies, the cheapest and best rated limo I found was LimosAlive.com. I'm paying about $630 for a 24 person "party bus" limo for 3 hours. It's cheaper for fewer hours and fewer people. I found them to be really helpful and responsive. Hope this helps!
Lauren,
Our buses would hold between 45-50 passengers. You would be looking at a rate of around $220 for a 3 hour tim frame. Please feel free to email me at [email protected] if your interested in more information

We just featured a wedding on our blog with a vintage 1940 Cadillac. We also have several transportation companies we've worked with on our recommended page. I'm not sure where you're looking, but transportation is generally one of the more affordable aspects for wedding planning, especially if you just need a small car and not a big vehicle to transport groups of people. But even large vehicles are generally pretty reasonable throughout the area.

We are using a company called M&M Limosine in Chicago....We have alot of out of town guests that need to be transported from the hotel to the Church and to the reception. We actually reserved our Wedding Limo and a shuttle bus from them. GREAT PRICES!
