Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. Costs of bouquets depend on a few factors, what type of flowers, how big of bouquet, do the flowers need to be wired etc....I have done bouquets for $30 up to $200.

I would suggest you shop around and get a few quotes.

I agree with www.auniqueboutique.ca, I would've written the same. Plus some flowers, may not even be in season which could increase the price if it needs to be imported (that's how it was explained to me). Getting more quotes will definitely give you a better idea of how much the bouquet you envision is fairly priced for $200 or not. If everyone is coming back with a similar price then you have to decide whether $200 is your budget or if you need something less & see what the florists suggest. Good luck!

I got quoted $125 - $175 for an 8-inch diameter bridal bouquet (in Vancouver). Good luck!

To give you an idea on costs - a bouquet consisting of 12 roses hand tied would be around $75.00, add in a few calla lillies to the same bouquet and you will be up to $95.00. If you want a bouquet of only phaelonopsis orchids the average price starts at $100.00 and goes up depending on how many stems.

Just remember that not all flowershops have minimums which is what you were being quoted.

I paid about 200.00 for my whole wedding package. That included my bouquet, all four of my girls and about 16 bouts. :)

Again, as other people have said...it depends on the flowers. I had roses, freesias, wax flowers and bachelor buttons (?), i was very open to what was in the bouquet and just gave my florist a color scheme.

hi all, i can echo what everyone said. i didn't really care what my bouquet looked like (all i wanted were sunflowers) and i was quoted $200 for a bridal bouquet at the Flower Factory on Main St. they would have made it all fancy and wired etc, so had them put together a simple bouquet of 6 sunflowers for me, and two for my sister (my only bridesmaid). This cost me about $30.

they worked great, but in hindsight and for pictures' sake, i kinda' wish i'd looked around some more and gotten one that was more "bridey."
