I am STRONGLY considering booking the Woman's Club of Englewood for my upcoming wedding, however the one stipulation that has us hesitant is the noise ordinance. We are a multi-cultural Dominican/ Italian/ African-American wedding, and the one thing that all of these cultures have in common is love of dancing at weddings! Does the noise ordiance make it impossible to dance? Also, any other un-related tips or experiences with the Woman's Club that you can share will be appreciated.
Thank you so much for the feedback! That is my biggest fear in going with the Woman's Club - thank you for putting it to rest!! Is there any particular DJ you would recommend we go with from the preferred list? Any other vendors worth shouting out? Thanks again!!!
Absolutely not. We just had our wedding this past October and our DJ had the music plenty loud - everyone was on the dance floor. We did adhere to the law and the music was done by 11pm which fit our schedule perfect. We did our ceremony at 5pm and our reception started at 6pm so 5 hours was plenty of time for eating, dancing, cutting the cake and more dancing. On another note, Maria and Tom are great at taking care of details you wouldn't even think of...they are wonderful to work with. Best of luck!!
