My fiance is in the military and we would like to reserve a place at the Marine corps depot. Who should we contact or where could I find the information for reservation? thank you.

Hi Khristine,

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! =)

This is how I first found out the information I was looking regarding holding our reception on one of the bases.

We, however, did not hold our reception there...I found that there were a lot of extra charges we just couldn't afford to pay...between room rental fees, bartender and staff fees, cake fees, etc...it just added up to more than we could afford.

We ended up choosing The Butcher Shop: http://butchershop.signonsandiego.com/

We had the most beautiful reception...didn't have to pay any extra fees, as everything was included in the price of the meals. Our friends and family told us they loved the food, we did too. And the number one reason we chose to go there was because of the wonderful service we were provided. We were made to feel very special...not just another Saturday wedding. The Director of Sales, Mike, was awesome...he even let us store our five tier wedding cake in one of their commercial fridges...we made the cake ourselves and transported it down two days before the wedding.

Me and my husband totally loved it...and best of all, we did have to break the bank to pay for it all. We paid less than $3000 for everything there, including tips and taxes. We chose to go simple on decorations...but even what we did do, the staff helped us with everything...they are very accomodating and they do offer a list of other vendors if you need further help.

I totally recommend checking it out, especially if you are concerned about budget.

Best of luck!!!
