Does anyone have any suggestions on venue for a smaller wedding/reception (50 people)? Most places are so big my guest would get lost in all the space! Ft. Pierce, PSL, Stuart...anyplace would help!

Hey there!
Congrats on your engagement! My name is Shannon with Captured Memories Phography and I would be happy to give you some help. Let's see, some local places I recommend that aren't super huge is Ballantrae in PSL (you can have your ceremony outdoors in their garden area, very pretty), Flagler Community Center in Stuart (its on the water), Indian Riverside Park in Jensen (they have a pier in the background), Hilton Garden Inn in PSL, west of SLW (I just photographed a wedding there for the first time earlier this month and it was great! Nice staff, great photo spots.), also try checking out some local hotels and ask their average oppacity, and you could also try some local resturants as well, they'll often let you hold receptions there and sometimes they have a room off to the side you can use, try Mulligans or Finz in Stuart. And you could always have your reception at the beach or Botanical gardens and rent a tent. I do have some photos of weddings Ive photographed at these places if youd like to see what the places look like. Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions. My email is captmemphotos@aol.com or my cell is 954-849-7240. And of course if you have any photographer questions, Id be happy to answer any of those as well. Hope this has helped. Happy wedding planning!
:)
