Getting married jan 16 2010 at lambertville,nj, ceremony and reception all in one. Was wondering if any1 can offer any do's and don'ts there. This my fiancee dream place to be wed and I wanna make it special for her.
I don't know about do's and don't's but I can give you a few time saving tips that will help you get done your pictures quicker and give you time to breathe a minute and maybe even enjoy your cocktail hour.
1- I noticed the clincher to it all, is the bride HAS to be ready when the photographer gets there. Ready to zip up the dress. Have all your accessories (garter, jewelry, etc..) in one place. Don't run all over the house looking for that backup pair of earrings, you will get huffy and hot, designate a bridesmaid to get you what you need. Have her bring you some water, food, flowers when they arrive. Definitely eat breakfast. If your bride does these things I guarantee you will not run late throughout the day. When things run late, I feel like I'm always running to catch up.... before you know it the day is over.
For you Mork, be attentive to her on this day. Be in charge of your guys, and designate them to do what they have to do. At the reception hang out with her. While its nice to hang out with friends, and its not necessary to cling to your wife all day, its still nice to see a groom dancing with his wife on the dance floor, or visiting the guests together, and just simply living those moments together. Some grooms get sucked into hanging at the bar with his friends, and he nearly misses the night.
Well, that's all I have for now, hope this helps. If you need a videographer or photographer for your event you may contact me. tylerstarproductions.com
