I have makeup and hair scheduled for myself, but my ceremony starts at 12:00 so I am thinking of scheduling another person to do my bridesmaids' hair and makeup. Anyone have suggestions of someone affordable and fast in the Newport Beach area?

Hi,

I had my makeup done at the Macy's (MAC by Sandra) in Fashion Island which is about 10-15mins away from the Harbor (I got married in the Destiny from Electra Cruises) Sandra did a fantastic job on me and my maide of honor. My mother and sister got their makeup done there too by the other girls and they looked so good too. My makeup lasted all day and night. I went all over the place looking for a makeup artist and I was going to end up doing it myself until we decided to go into Macy's for our honeymoon luggages and saw Sandra and loved her makeup explain my dilema and she did a try out it looked so professional. I do my make up very nice and my husband was not pleased with any of the other people until we went to her he was like she's the one truely she did a WONDERFUL job. But you do have to purchase $50.00 worth of merchandise for each brides maids. I hope this helps! Congrats and Best wishes to your and your husband to be!

If your ceremony starts at 12 then you need your girls to be ready by 11am. this way you have time for photos and time to get to the ceremony. The down fall about MAC counter is that you are not guaranteed a spot and if a customer comes by they will stop working on that person to help the customer. It's much easier to have someone at your location to do the hair and makeup with no disruptions. We started makeup as early as 5:30 am to be ready for 10am church arrival. Just depends on the need of the bride.
Glad to be of service.

My daughter, myself and the entire bridal party had our hair and makeup done for a June wedding by Natalie from Hair Comes the Bride. Very professional and prompt. She came to the hotel and brought an assistant. There were a lot of differences in ages, hair types and lengths and skin tones. They made us all look gorgeous.
