Does anyone know of a good DJ in/around San Francisco?

I'm looking for a good DJ that's not too expensive.
Thanks

I haven't used him, but I just noticed someone on this site recommending DJ David:

Might be worth checking out.

we just had our wedding in june and used denon & doyle.
www.djay.com
you let them know the type of dj you want (silent to super engaging with the crowd) and the type of music you want, and they do all the rest. we loved them!

Do you mind me asking how much denon & doyle costed? We're getting married in Boston, but are looking for DJs for a San Francisco reception after the wedding. We were thinking about going with a band, but I think it's just going to be too expensive.

our reception was in downtown SF. they charged us $995 for 4 hours of playtime ($100 for every hour after). no charge for set up or take down. they will suggest you go to a showcase in your area to get an idea of their work. should you go this route, we loved our dj - chad grissom. he was perfect.

We used Rockit Science DJs for our wedding at the Presidio last June, after seeing them perform at another friend's wedding. They are incredibly talented, and have a HUGE selection of music -- funk, soul, hip hop, folk, rock (my husband is a radio DJ and we provided them with a very long and varied list of "wants," all of which they were able to find). I believe the total cost was $800, and that included all of the sound and equipment for our ceremony, as well as 4 hours of reception dancing. Email rockitsciencedjs@gmail.com.

I booked DJ David through Fog City Entertainment. He was around $999 for 4 hours.

We are thinking of hiring DJ Bobby A, he gave us 100s of references.
When I called they talk how content and satisfied they were.

After calling a few DJs with the same competitive fees of $1200,
his $1200 includes the ceremony.

We hired Bob, because he had unlimited hours, included all lighting,
and had an extensive music variations (we have over 400 guests).

Don't think he has a website, but call direct 415.724.4301
